About DIS


The Department of Transformation and Shared Services (TSS) Division of Information Systems (DIS) is a state government Department that provides information technology services within Arkansas’s public sector. TSS DIS works 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, to ensure that public services provided by the state’s agencies, boards and commissions, K-12 public schools, institutions of higher education, and city and county governments are always available to the citizens of Arkansas. DIS hosts some of the state’s most critical applications that enable citizens to access online public services.

Our Internship Program


The DIS Information Technology Internship Program is a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience in areas such as business analytics, cybersecurity, applications, networking, IT customer solutions, and more.

Responsibilities vary depending on skill set, knowledge, year of study, and, of course, enthusiasm! Strong communication skills with a teamwork mentality is preferred.

Requirements


•         Be 18 years of age or older

•         Pass a full background check

•         Enrolled at an accredited college or technical school

•         Enrolled in good standing as a sophomore or above

•         Actively pursuing a degree in information systems, computer science, IT project management or related field
